Welcome to my new history blog

Hello everyone! This is just a quick introduction. The reason I am creating this blog is to focus on a variety of topics that relate to the study of Canadian history. I have a BA and an MA in History from Laurentian University and enjoy studying in this field, but only on a freelance basis these days. My research, while in university, was focused on the History of Higher Education. Since then, however, I have begun to look at Canadian history as a whole and have also begun to develop a keen interest in Environmental History and Nineteenth Century Europe, both of which I also studied while completing my MA. I am currently completing a Master of Library and Information Science degree at The University of Western Ontario, so it's possible that some of that material might sneak into this blog as well. That's all I have for now, but I will posting some book reviews and other stuff soon.
